The Golf Course Island Cluster features a mix of 188 townhouses and single-family homes in the Upper Potomac Neighborhood of Reston, Va. When it was developed in the late 1960s, this private community won an award from Architectural Record Magazine for architect Louis E. Sauer’s contemporary designs.
