Sunny Start, Wet Finish To The Week In Reston

RESTON, VA -- It seemed like the rain would never end this weekend, and all this moisture helped push the D.C. area to a record-setting year in terms of total precipitation. The rain is coming back, but at least we'll get a few days of sunshine here in Reston first.

You'll enjoy mostly sunny skies Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with highs ranging from the low 40s (Tuesday) to the low 50s (Monday) to somewhere in between (Wednesday).

But on Thursday, the rain is back, with an 80 percent change of precipitation and highs in the low 50s. Friday, the rain continues, and highs rise to near 60 degrees.

But when the weekend arrives, the sun is back, and temperatures take a little bit of a dip into the 40s and 30s.
