Virginia Weather: Rain and Fog, No Freezing Temps
This week's weather forecast in Northern Virginia looks wet. But the cold winter temps might be behind us.

We're taking a real risk by saying it, but winter weather may be behind us. Knock on wood.
This week will be wet (it is March, after all), but that four-letter "s" word is nowhere in site.
There's also the chance for fog to start off your Monday.

Here are 3 good tips for driving in fog:
- Drive with lights on low beam. High beams will only be reflected back off the fog and actually impair visibility even more.
- Reduce your speed -- and watch your speedometer. Fog creates a visual illusion of slow motion when you may actually be speeding.
- Listen for traffic you cannot see. Open your window a little, to hear better.
There may be some snow headed for the northeast as temperatures cool, according to The Weather Channel. But we'll stay warm enough to avoid that fate.
