At Least 3 Critically Injured In Petersburg Stabbings: Reports
Reports say that multiple people were stabbed at a plasma center in Petersburg; 3 may have critical injuries. An arrest has been made.
PETERSBURG, VA — An arrest has been made in connection with multiple stabbings at a Petersburg, Virginia, plasma center, media reports say. The attacks happened inside the Octapharma Plasma center in the 2000 block of Sycamore Street Thursday afternoon, WTVR reports.
Several people were injured, the TV station said, with three victims suffering critical injuries.
Nurses and customers hid in a restroom inside the building, witnesses said.

A suspect is in custody, according to Petersburg Police Chief Kenneth Miller.

Petersburg is a city of about 32,420 residents 24 miles south of Richmond on Interstate 95.
