Richmond July 4 Fireworks, Parades and More: 2018 Guide

RICHMOND VA- July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue, stock up on sparklers, and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the firework shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Richmond so you can start planning how you'll celebrate our country’s 242nd birthday.

Star Spangled Celebration

What: King's Dominion Festive 4th Celebration
Where: King's Dominion
When: June 30, 2018- July 4, 2018

Spend a day (or five) at King's Dominion while it's decked out in red, white and blue. Enjoy performances, rides and of course... fireworks! Free admission for service members and discount for friends and family.

July 4 Jubilee

What: 6 Day July 4th Celebration
Where: Wintergreen Resort
When: June 29- July 4, 2018

Wintergreen Resort guests are welcome to join in on this fun and festive drawn out Jubilee. There will be music, children's block parties, a movie under the stars, chairlift rides, and fireworks on July 3rd!

Smith Mountain Lake Fireworks and Fundraiser

What: Firework Show and Saunders Volunteer Fire Company Fundraiser
Where: Parkway Marina
When: July 4, 2018

Seeking a traditional way to celebrate the 4th? Enjoy your July 4th festively with fireworks at Parkway Marina. Spend your night viewing a fireworks display and partaking in various fun, food, music and activities. $10 per person and kids are free.

Busch Gardens Firework Spectacular

Where: Busch Gardens
When: July 3-4, 2018 / Fireworks at 9:30

Watch your July 4 fireworks from an amusement park. Reserve a picnic or cruise before the 3rd and 4th for optimum viewing without obstructions. Spend the day at the park and close with a fireworks spectacular so this year's Fourth can go out with a bang.
