Richmond Police Launches Treehaven Drive Death Investigation
Many neighbors were in area at the time of the call and detectives canvassed the neighborhood seeking information into the fatal shooting.

At approximately 6:44 p.m., officers were called to the 4600 block of Southwood Parkway for a report of a shooting. Officers arrived and determined the incident occurred in the 1400 block of Treehaven Drive. Once there, officers found an adult male in an apartment suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
