Citizens Must Register In Advance To Speak At May 18 Virtual Roanoke City Council Meetings
Once registered, the citizen will be given a telephone number to call into the sessions at the appropriate agenda item.

In continued compliance with Executive Orders Number 51, 55 and 61 issued by Governor Ralph Northam prohibiting gatherings of more than 10 people, Roanoke City Council will hold its regular meetings at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday, May 18, using electronic communication means, without the public present in the Council Chamber. Citizens may register to speak at the 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. City Council sessions by calling the City Clerk’s office at 540-853-2541 or by sending an email to clerk@roanokeva.gov by noon on Monday, May 18. Once registered, the citizen will be given a telephone number to call into the sessions at the appropriate agenda item.

The public will have access to observe the regular meetings of City Council through live cablecast on Roanoke Valley Television Cox Channel 3, and through livestream on the City’s Facebook page.
