Roanoke Parks and Recreation is celebrating Park and Recreation Month in July and has planned several free events open to the public. From free movies in City parks, a community float, yoga in the park, and greenway clean-ups, there is an activity near you and for you to enjoy. In addition, they've partnered with Starr Hill Roanoke for Pint for Parks. Every Monday and Tuesday in July, $1 from each beer sold goes back to PLAY Roanoke for the City’s recreational programs and activities! Come out and celebrate your parks and open spaces all month long. Click here for a full listing of events.
