Local Physical Therapist to Present at Orlando Conference

Physical Therapist Brent Harper has been invited to speak at the 2019 American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists’ Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida, on Oct. 26. Harper practices at Radford University where he serves as chair and program director.
Harper will deliver a presentation entitled “Rediscovering Fascia’s Role in the Health of the Musculoskeletal System.” The lecture will highlight fascia’s highly organized tensile network and its influence on movement impairments.
Harper has been a physical therapist for over 21 years, focusing in manual therapy, orthopedics and sports physical therapy. He received his master’s degree from Loma Linda University, doctoral degree from Western University and doctor of science specializing in orthopedic manual physical therapy from Andrews University. Harper received his PhD in orthopedic manual therapy from the Ola Grimsby Institute where he completed both a residency and fellowship.
