Donna L. Bales

Age 63, of Braceville, IL and formerly Cherry Point, NC passed away at home, surrounded by her family, Tuesday evening December 31, 2019. She was born October 18, 1956 to the late Marguerite and Benny Benson in Cherry Point where she was raised and educated. Donna resided in the Chicagoland area most of her adult life.

Beloved mother of Christine Bales, Jason Bales, and Jennifer (John) Moats; proud and devoted grandmother of Andrew and Ryan; Nicholas, Johnny and Julianna; former wife and dearest friend of Ronald Bales; fond sister of Michael (Cindy) Benson, Tammy (John) Cox and David (Theresa) Benson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister, Julie Benson.

Donna will be remembered forever by her family as a devoted mother and grandmother. After the kids were grown, Donna continued her caring ways as a CNA for the seniors of our community. She enjoyed sewing in her free time, however any time she could spend with her family, especially the grandkids made her most happy.
