Roanoke City Council To Hold Meeting On May 4

Council will not hold briefings on Monday morning. Citizens may register to speak at the 2 p.m.

In continued compliance with Executive Orders Number 51 and 55 issued by Governor Ralph Northam prohibiting gatherings of more than 10 people, Roanoke City Council will hold its regular meeting at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 4, using electronic communication means, without the public present in the Council Chamber. Council will not hold briefings on Monday morning. Citizens may register to speak at the 2 p.m. City Council session by calling the City Clerk’s office at 540-853-2541 or by sending an email to clerk@roanokeva.gov by noon on Monday, May 4. Once registered, the citizen will be given a telephone number to call into the session at the appropriate agenda item.
