Starting Monday, all high-contact sports are prohibited in the District, according to a new order from Mayor Muriel Bowser. The prohibited sports include basketball, hockey, rugby, boxing, lacrosse, soccer, football, martial arts, and wrestling.

Gov. Ralph Northam ceremonially signed a law on Monday banning no-knock search warrants in Virginia named after Breonna Taylor, who was fatally shot when Louisville, Kentucky police were carrying out a search warrant in her home.
