High-Tech Performance of 'Peter Pan' Arrives in Tysons for Summer 2015

The show will take place in a 1,500-seat tent at Tysons Corner Center through Aug. 16, giving performers plenty of room to fly.

Tysons Corner Center may as well be Neverland this summer with the arrival of a revolutionary new theater production of “Peter Pan” in the area.

The high-tech, theater-in-the-round production opened Wednesday and will run through Aug. 16 in a 1,500-seat tent located at Tysons Corner Center.

The tent is designed to allow the performers to use all 360 degrees of the stage, which is surrounded by seating on all sides, to fly around and bring the magic of “Peter Pan” to life. It is also 100-feet tall, giving performers plenty of space to fly when they go airborne during the show.

A 360-degree video projection displayed atop the roof of the tent is also used to provide a backdrop for each scene throughout the performance.

Tickets are on sale now for $25 apiece for shows throughout the summer. For more information on the show, visit PeterPan360.com.
