Tysons Walmart Supercenter to Hold Grand Opening Wednesday

Excited about the new Walmart opening in Tysons? It's opening this week, just in time for back-to-school shopping.
The new Tysons-area Walmart will hold a grand opening Wednesday with a ceremony at 7:30 a.m., according to a company spokeswoman.
The grand opening event will feature a ribbon-cutting, speakers and presentations of $2,000 in grants from Walmart and the Walmart Foundation to local community groups, including Jill’s House, Inc. and Westbriar Elementary School in Vienna.
The new store, which will employ 200, is located at 1500B Cornerside Blvd. in Vienna. The new location lies off of Westwood Center Drive and near the new Spring Hill Metro station on the Silver Line.
