ICYMI: Ben Carson Buys Vienna Home

The president's nominee for director of Housing and Urban Development has bought this five-bedroom, four-bath home in Vienna.

A realtor from Long & Foster tells Realtor.com that Ben Carson and his wife Candy have purchased this five-bedroom home in Vienna, not far from Wolf Trap National Park.

Donald Trump's former presidential rival and current nominee to serve as his administration's director of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) reportedly closed on the home purchase last month, shortly after the House of Representatives confirmed Carson's HUD nomination. His appointment is currently pending a vote by the Senate.

According to Realtor.com and the Washingtonian, the home is a spacious 6,400 square feet and sits on 1.5 acres. In addition to five bedrooms, the home has four full baths.
