Caffe Amouri Named Best Coffee Shop In DC Region

VIENNA, VA—If you needed any more proof that Caffe Amouri is popular among locals, it just swept up another reader choice award. Readers and listeners named the Vienna business the best coffee shop in this year's WTOP Top 10. Voting was open through Friday, Aug. 3 and winners were announced Monday, Aug. 6.

WTOP readers and listeners nominated their 10 favorite restaurants for best burger, pizza, BBQ, crabs, brunch, winery, brewery, bagels, tacos and coffee shop. All nominated businesses must have locations in DC, Maryland and Virginia only.

Northern Virginia residents haven't been shy about their love for Caffe Amouri, known for its small-batch coffee and cozy setting for community events. The coffee shop also gained recognition as the best coffeehouse from Northern Virginia Magazine readers and in Virginia Living Magazine's Best of Virginia earlier this year.

Caffe Amouri has also been recognized by the Town of Vienna for its eco-friendly practices. The business recently eliminated plastic straws as part of a larger effort to stop using all plastic products. All straws and cups are compostable.
