DC, NoVA Weekend: Free Museum Day, King Street Art Festival
Tours for the reopened Washington Monument, Taste of Georgetown and first days of fall festivals are the highlights of this weekend.
It's the last weekend before fall officially starts, and a lot is happening in the Northern Virginia and DC region. From fall festivals opening to free museum day, there's quite the variety of events.
We've rounded up numerous events going on from Friday, Sept. 20 to Sunday, Sept. 22. Some are free, while others have fees.
The larger events include the reopening of Washington Monument tours, Fiesta DC, Smithsonian Museum Day, International Food Festival, Alexandria King Street Art Festival, Fredericksburg Pet Show, H Street Festival and Taste of Georgetown.
