DC, NoVA Weekend: Waterfront Fireworks, Wine And Food Festival

After much of the region experienced flash flooding early in the work week, we could all use some fun this weekend. The Northern Virginia and DC area won't disappoint with events like festivals, concerts and fireworks.

We've rounded up numerous events going on from Friday, July 12 to Sunday, July 14. Some are free, while others have fees.

The larger events you'll find include: Alexandria Birthday Celebration and Fireworks, Del Ray Music Festival, Lotus and Water Lily Festival, Purcellville Wine and Food Festival, Free For All: Hamlet, Roots Music Festival in Reston and Port City Old Town Bar Crawl.
