Indecent Exposure, Smashed Car Window: Vienna Crime Report
Vienna Police investigated a pedestrian crash and other incidents in the last few weeks.

VIENNA, VA — Vienna Police investigated a variety of incidents in the few weeks, including an indecent exposure, pedestrian crash and smashed car window.
The indecent exposure happened in the 400 block of Center Street North between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on June 11. A dog walker was walking a dog and noticed a man in a home watching her. As the dog walker was leaving the client's home, the man reportedly exposed himself.
The smashed window incident happened between 11:15 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. on June 13 at Westwood Country Club. A resident reported the rear window of her vehicle was smashed, and her purse was stolen.

With Vienna Police continuing to see reports of vehicle vandalisms, police urge residents to keep doors locked, remove all valuables and keys, and report suspicious activity to police. Many of the vehicle vandalism cases involve suspects targeting unlocked cars. Break-ins in locked vehicles are rare, police say.

200 Block Elm Street, SW
Between June 1 at 12:00 p.m. and June 19 at 11:00 a.m.
A resident reported that someone stole a bicycle from his unlocked shed.

537 Maple Avenue, West
June 18 8:09 a.m.
A man entered the store and stole several cartons of cigarettes. When an employee attempted to confront the man, he fled the area in a vehicle.
Crash - 112 Courthouse Road, SW 21-003243
June 18 1:48 p.m.
Vehicle-1 was turning right onto northbound Courthouse Road from Cottage Street. Pedestrian-1 was walking in the pedestrian crosswalk when he was struck by Vehicle-1. Pedestrian-1 was transported by rescue personnel to an area hospital with minor injuries.Driver-1 was issued a summons charging Failure to Pay Full Time and Attention.
Animal Case 21-003338
Lawyers Road and Maple Avenue, NW
June 23 11:30 a.m.
ACO Barker found two dogs running at large. Attempts to locate an owner were unsuccessful. The dogs were transported to the Fairfax County Animal Shelter.

June 23 between 12:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.A resident reported that an E-ZPass transponder and an iPhone cable were stolen from their vehicle.
