Kyle Hayes Of Vienna, Member Of 2017 JMU Baseball

From JMU: Kyle Hayes of Vienna is a member of the 2017 James Madison baseball program.

The Dukes' season starts with a weekend series in Conway S.C., including a date with reigning national champion Coastal Carolina on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 1 p.m. JMU will play 30 home games at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Park this season.

In 2016, his first year at the helm of JMU, Head Coach Marlin Ikenberry led the Dukes to a 24-31 record, a six-win improvement over the previous season. JMU also won its first Colonial Athletic Association Tournament game since 2013 after finishing with a 13-11 conference record.

JMU Athletics sponsors an 18-sport intercollegiate athletics program that competes within the Colonial Athletic Association at the Division I level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
