Multi-Vehicle Crash Causes Delays On I-66 Near Vienna Exit
Virginia State Police were on the scene of a crash on westbound I-66 near the Nutley Street exit.

VIENNA, VA — A multi-vehicle crash spurred delays on Interstate 66 near the Vienna Metro station Friday morning.
The crash happened on westbound I-66 past Nutley Street (Exit 62), according to a Metropolitan Area Transportation Operations Coordination alert tweet. Footage captured by local media outlets appeared to show five vehicles involved and Virginia State Police responding. There were no initial reports of injuries.

The crash initially blocked two right lanes. Shortly after 7 a.m., all lanes were open and the crash scene was cleared. Delays were expected to continue for two miles.
