Police Investigating Sex Offense Accusation from Customer at Vienna Spa: Police

Also in latest police report: Indecent exposure, illegal meat selling, fraudulent prescription and another counterfeit $100 bill passed.

VIENNA, VA -- Vienna Police report they are investigating an accusation of a sex assault at a Vienna spa. Police say the incident was reported Feb. 11 at 4:30 p.m. at the Sugaring House Spa, located at 103 Beulah Road, NE, #201. A citizen reported to police that her juvenile son was receiving a facial treatment at the spa when an employee assaulted him. This case is being investigated by police.

The incident was among the following summary that contains various incidents of general interest handled by the Town of Vienna Police Department from February 10, 2017 – February 16, 2017. INCIDENTS

Juvenile Case 17-001316 Cedar Lane School 101 Cedar Lane, SW Between January 31 at 08:30 a.m. and February 9 at 8:30 a.m. A female student reported a male student has twice made lewd gestures towards her. The school administration is aware of the incidents and is handling the matter.

Lost Property 17-001535 Fresh Market 150 Branch Road, SE February 7 12:00 p.m. A citizen reported she lost her wallet in the area of the Fresh Market.

Fraud 17-001376 Vienna Drug Center 150 Maple Avenue, West February 10 between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 pm. An employee reported someone passed a counterfeit $100 bill. This case is being investigated.

Arrest – Domestic Assault 17-001307 Jade Court, NW February 10 12:45 a.m. Officers responded to a domestic assault in progress. A resident advised his daughter came home from the hospital after being treated for intoxication earlier in the night and was talking loudly to a friend on the phone. When he confronted her about the noise she assaulted him causing injury to his face and chest. MPO Shaw arrested the 23-year-old female and transported her to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where she was charged with Domestic Assault.

Trespassing 17-001329 Navy Federal Credit Union 820 Follin Lane, SE February 10 2:42 p.m. Navy Federal Security requested assistance with a man they wanted trespassed from the credit union. The man was attempting to see his wife who works there, however she did not wish to speak to him. The man was advised he was not permitted at the building and he left without further incident.

Arrest – Warrant Service 17-1332 Vienna Police Station 215 Center Street, South February 10 3:31 p.m. A woman came to the Vienna Police Station to accept service of an active warrant out of Loudoun County charging Petit Larceny. Ofc. Hylinski served the warrant on the 24-year-old female from Glenlawn Place in Herndon, Virginia. She was released on her signature.

Police Service 17-001333 300 Block Holmes Drive, NW February 10 3:56 p.m. Officers had previously responded to the address for a residential alarm. The property manager was now at the house with a key and requested officers conduct a walk-through to ensure there were no issues inside the home.

Suspicious Event 17-001514 100 Block Park Street, NE February 10 7:00 p.m. Information was received from Fairfax County Police regarding pornographic photos that were seen on a cell phone. This case is being investigated.

Noise Complaint 17-001345 The Bey Lounge 303 Mill Street, NE February 10 11:40 p.m. A resident reported loud music coming from The Bey Lounge. Officers were already in the area at the time the report was made and found no violation.

Suspicious Event 17-001388 Church of the Holy Comforter 543 Beulah Road, NE February 11 7:49 p.m. Officers responded to a verbal dispute between two females and a male at the Church’s shelter. The two females agreed to go to another shelter and were provided transportation by cab.

Suspicious Event 17-001403 The Bey Lounge 303 Mill Street, NE February 12 1:45 a.m. A customer and employees had a verbal disagreement when the customer found her cell phone, which she had left on a table, had been thrown in the trash. The employees believed the phone was accidently thrown out as they were clearing the table. The customer was upset with the employees’ response to the incident.

ABC Violation 17-1408 Chain Bridge Road and James Madison Drive February 12 3:30 a.m. Ofc. Bulti observed a driver commit a traffic offense and initiated a traffic stop. Upon his interaction with the juvenile driver and five juvenile occupants he detected the odor of alcohol. It was determined that the driver and one passenger had consumed some alcohol. The driver was given a series of field sobriety tests which she passed, indicating she was not intoxicated. The juveniles’ parents were notified and the juveniles were all released to their parent or a guardian. The driver and passenger who had been drinking were verbally counselled about underage possession of alcohol.

Simple Assault 17-001446 Maple Avenue and Westbriar Drive, NE February 13 7:20 a.m. A passenger on a Metro bus became agitated when the bus had mechanical problems on the road and a replacement bus had to be called for the passengers. The driver feared the passenger would assault him. The bus driver was provided with the information to obtain a warrant should he wish to pursue charges.

Suspicious Event 17-001453 Choice Property Management 360 Maple Avenue, West, Suite D February 13 11:30 a.m. An employee advised that a former tenant keeps making harassing phone calls to their office regarding her security deposit.

Prescription Fraud 17-001464 CVS 337 Maple Avenue, East February 13 3:06 p.m. The pharmacist reported a fraudulent prescription. This case is under investigation.

Found Property 17-001533 1100 Block Drake Street, SW Between February 14 at 3:00 p.m. and February 15 at 3:39 p.m. A resident reported a bicycle that was left in their front yard. The bicycle will be held at the Vienna Police Station to be released to its owner.

Arrest – Driving While Intoxicated / Narcotics Violation / Drunk In Public 17-001501, 17- 001502, 17-1503 200 Block Patrick Street, SW February 14 8:13 p.m. A resident reported three men in a vehicle who were making threats toward him and repeatedly driving past his house. Ofc. Reedy located the vehicle in the area and initiated at traffic stop after observing that it had defective equipment. Upon his interaction with the occupants he detected the driver showed signs of possible impairment. After failing to complete a series of field sobriety tests he arrested the 20-year-old man from Beverly Park Drive in Springfield, Virginia. The man was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he was charged with Driving While Intoxicated. MPO Smith found the two passengers also showed signs of impairment and one was in possession of narcotics. He arrested the 26-year-old man from Carmelo Drive in Vienna for Possession of Narcotics and Drunk In Public and the 19-year-old man from Majestic Lane in Fairfax, Virginia for Drunk In Public. Both men were transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

Trespassing 17-001518 1200 Cottage Street, SW February 15 10:58 a.m. Officers assisted deputies from the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Department in evicting individuals who were residing in a residence. One man was located on the premises. He was evicted and trespassed from returning to the property.

Suspicious Vehicle 17-001509 Southside Park 1317 Ross Drive, SW February 15 12:59 a.m. Sergeant Tracy observed an occupied vehicle parked in Southside Park. He spoke to the male and female occupants and advised them of the Town’s Trespassing ordinance. The couple left the area without further incident.

Animal Complaint 17-001510 500 Block Walker Street, SW February 15 between 1:00 a.m. and 1:54 a.m. A resident reported the neighbor’s dog loudly barking. The neighbors were not home to bring the dog inside. ACO Barker will follow up on this case.

Fraud 17-001527 Walgreens 225 Maple Avenue, East February 15 1:46 p.m. An employee advised there was a customer in the store who he believed was the victim of a scam after she had been told to purchase ITunes cards for payment by. The customer had been directed to make the ITunes purchase by someone claiming they were with the “Grants Department of the Federal Government.”

Indecent Exposure 17-001534 1000 Picket Place, SW February 15 4:00 p.m. A resident advised that her roommate’s boyfriend exposed himself to her.

Arrest – Solicitor 17-001564 600 Block Echols Street, SE February 16 4:13 p.m. Ofc. Hylinski located two men selling meat from a van. The men had previously been warned about the Town Solicitor’s Ordinance and the requirement for them to obtain a Town license to sell their product. Ofc. Hylinski charged the 42-year-old man from Alpha Court in Fredericksburg, Virginia and the 24-year-old man from Blankenship Drive in Orange, Virginia with Soliciting Without a Town License. They were both released on their signatures.
