Stroll Through Beautiful Gardens At Vienna's Walk On The Hill

Vienna residents living in a historic area will open their gardens for tours.

VIENNA, VA—For the 44th year, residents of Vienna's Windover Heights Historic District will open their gardens and yards for tours in perhaps the town's prettiest event of the year. Walk on the Hill will be held Sunday, April 29 from 2 p.m.-5 p.m.

Attendees can get a rare glimpse into the historic district while the flowers are in full bloom. Sponsored by the Windover Heights Historic District residents, Historic Vienna Inc., and the Town of Vienna, the annual event is a local favorite and draws visitors from outside Vienna.

"This is an opportunity to share the ambience of this unique part of Town," said Councilmember Carey Sienicki, who helps organize the event, in a statement. "The long-time success of this event is truly a community effort and a wonderful start to the spring."
