Summer On The Green Concerts Return To Vienna In 2021
The concert series will be back on the Town Green after being held virtually in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
VIENNA, VA — After ViVa Vienna kicked off summer entertainment over Memorial Day weekend, live performances will continue with the return of Summer on the Green concert series in Vienna.
The free concerts will be held on the Town Green on select days in June, July and August. The 2020 performances had been held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Town of Vienna is also planning to hold Chillin' on Church in August and September.
The performances cover a variety of musical genres. Concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. and last about one and a half hours. Residents are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket but are asked to keep pets at home. Alcohol is not permitted.

The events are sponsored by the Rotary Club of Vienna. Below is the schedule for 2021.
- June 25: US Navy Band Cruisers
- July 2: No Concert
- July 9: TBA
- July 16: The Sarah Bennett Swanner Band
- July 23: Shenandoah Run
- July 30: Fat Chance
- Aug. 6: The Rockits
- Aug. 13: US Navy Band Commodores
