Two Roads Closed in Vienna Monday Night
Fallen trees and power lines have closed two Vienna streets Monday night.
VIENNA, VA -- The Town of Vienna announced Monday afternoon that Echols Street, between East Street and Follin Lane, and the 200 block of Elm Street SW are closed to traffic Monday evening.
The road closures are due to fallen trees and power lines. Due to high volume, there is no estimated time from Dominion Power on when repairs will be completed.
The region was under a wind advisory until 7 p.m. Monday; rain has been falling throughout the day. Power outages were scattered across Fairfax County Monday including in the Vienna area.
