Vienna 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony Moved To New Site
Tuesday morning's Sept. 11 remembrance ceremony is hosted by the town of Vienna and American Legion Post 180.

VIENNA, VA — The town of Vienna announced Monday afternoon that a ceremony to honor the victims and first responders of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, has been moved to the Vienna Community Center.
The ceremony was scheduled to take place Tuesday morning on the Town Green, behind the Freeman Store. But this week's rainy weather has forced the event to move indoors to the community center's auditorium.
The scheduled time of 9 a.m. for Tuesday's ceremony has not changed (see map below). The Vienna Community Center is at 120 Cherry St. SE, two blocks south of Maple Avenue (Route 123).
