Vienna New Year's Events: 2020 Guide

VIENNA, VA — 2019 is coming to a close, and there are plenty of ways to celebrate the new year. Whether you prefer staying at home to watch the ball drop in TV or heading out to celebrate at a local party, we have you covered.

We've rounded up some event options around Vienna, as well as New Year's Eve TV programming information. Let us know in the comments if we missed anything. We will update this guide up to New Year's Eve.

New Year's Eve at Caboose Commons: Beginning at 9 p.m. on Dec. 31

The local brewery is hosting a New Year's Eve party with no fee to enter. Falling Home will provide music beginning at 9 p.m. All ages are welcome, and IDs will be checked at the door. You can also reserve a spot for $100 per seat. New this year is ‘Da Fancy’ Lounge on the third floor for ages 21 and up. New Years Eve 80's Dance Party at Jammin' Java with DJ Darin: Doors at 6:30 p.m. and show at 8 p.m. on Dec. 31

Put together your best 80's outfit and dance the night away. There will be prizes for best 80's outfit and name that tune. A champagne toast will happen at midnight. Tickets are $30 to $40. 227 Maple Ave E, Vienna, VA 22180

Roaring 20s New Year's Eve at Blackfinn Merrifield: Starting at 9 p.m. on Dec. 31

As we head into 2020, it's only appropriate we pay homage to the roaring 20's a century ago. The event features 1920s inspired cocktails, a midnight champagne toast, live DJ, 1920s inspired party favors, photo station and more. 2750 Gallows Road Vienna, VA 22180

New Years Eve "Toast to a Decade" at Greenhouse Bistro: Dec. 31

This event features a dinner party, DJs in two rooms, champagne toast at midnight and party favors. 2070 Chain Bridge Road Vienna, VA 22182

Brew Year’s Eve at City Works: Dec. 31

Ring in the new year with chef's specials and selected beer and wine pairings. Enjoy party music, enter to win a $100 gift card, and join the champagne toast at midnight. Partygoers are invited to come back to City Works the next morning beginning at 10 a.m. to celebrate 2020 with a New Year’s Day Rock N’ Roll recovery brunch with dishes such as the Jon Bun Jovi, Chak Shuka Khan, and the Johnny Hash. Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest: 8 p.m. on Dec. 31 on ABC

This New Year's Eve special broadcast live from Times Square is a tradition for many families. Performers confirmed for the New York City festivities are Post Malone, BTS, Sam Hunt and Alanis Morissette, according to The Washington Post.
