Vienna's Chef Bazin To Hold Gluten-Free Night

Patrick Bazin, who has Celiac disease, has gained a following of people looking for gluten-free dining.

VIENNA, VA—Since Chef Patrick Bazin of Bazin's on Church learned he had Celiac disease in 2013, he's worked to develop gluten-free offerings that are just as tasty as other menu items. One of his latest efforts is the Pop-Up Gluten-Free Night he's hosting on Thursday, Nov. 8 beginning at 5 p.m.

Bazin’s on Church is hosting this event at the Bazin’s Next Door event space (111 Church St, Vienna VA 22180). The pop-up menu is 100 percent gluten free and will include items like zucchini wrapped chicken enchiladas, onion blanketed “Chatham Bay” cod and a dairy-free, sugar-free chocolate almond cake.

Bazin looks forward to sharing how versatile and tasty a gluten-free diet can be. "I have been working on gluten free recipes for years and I am really excited to share what I have learned with others suffering from Celiac or gluten intolerance,” he said.
