VIENNA, VA — As the vibrant spring blooms appear, the Town of Vienna's Walk on the Hill will be held in 2021 with limited attendance. The event was held virtually in 2020.

Walk on the Hill, a self-guided tour in Vienna's historic Windover Heights neighborhood, is scheduled for Sunday, April 25. The free event takes attendees through yards and gardens of participating properties in the Windover Heights neighborhood. Historic Vienna, Inc. and homeowners will put up signs in yards with history and other information about the home. The Ayr Hill Garden Club is planning a photography show, although it may be held virtually. Attendees will be required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be a limit of 500 attendees (250 for each time slot). Attendees must sign up for one of two time slots: 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. by noon on April 23. All attendees planning to attend the event must sign up, and each household is limited to six registrations. To sign up, visit viennava.gov/webtrac.
