Virginia Girls Lacrosse: Madison Rolls Over McLean

Warhawks still undefeated in the Liberty District.

The Madison girls lacrosse team (6-1, 3-0) continued to roll Thursday in Liberty District play with a 21-11 victory over McLean (3-5, 1-3).

McLean jumped out to a 4-1 lead, but an early time out by Madison Head Coach Amanda Counts reversed game momentum in the Warhawks' favor.

The entire Madison team saw action on the field in a game that featured potent scoring by 9 different Warhawks. Carly Frederick lead the way with 4 goals and 2 assists.

The Warhawks play again at 7:30 p.m. Monday against South Lakes High.
