'The Voice' Winner Jordan Smith to Perform at The Barns at Wolf Trap

VIENNA, VA -- The Barns at Wolf Trap announced Tuesday that the 2015 winner of "The Voice," Jordan Smith, will be performing at the venue this season. Smith, the most successful winner of the popular TV program, will make his Barns debut on Tuesday, March 28 at 8 p.m.

The Barns of Wolf Trap is located at 1635 Trap Road in the Vienna area.

A Kentucky native, Smith, 23, was the winner of the ninth season of "The Voice" in 2015. Smith came out with his own holiday album that hit #1 on both the iTunes Holiday Album and Amazon Digital Album charts, Yahoo Music reported. He also appeared in his own holiday special "Tis the Season." His CD "Something Beautiful" was a collaboration with Grammy Award-winning producer/writer David Foster and Grammy nominated-producer/writer Stephan Moccio. The album features a compilation of covers and originals, giving listeners a taste of the "timelessness of Jordan s music," according to a description of the CD on Amazon.

Smith broke records on the show for being the show's biggest seller, with 1.2 million tracks sold to date and 50,000 albums sold of his compilation CD Jordan Smith: The Complete Season 9 Collection, Variety reported. He was the first artist from any season of the show to hit the iTunes top 10 every week of the Live Rounds, with a total of eight songs in the top 10 on the iTunes chart -- the most of any artist on the program.

Tickets for the Barns at Wolf Trap show will go on sale Friday, Jan. 27 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be $36 to $42. Become a member of Wolf Trap to purchase tickets ahead of the public sale on Friday.
