Metro riders should prepare for a major service disruption due to weekend work. On Saturday, Jan. 11 and Sunday, Jan. 12, free shuttle buses will replace trains between East Falls Church and Rosslyn. The Ballston, Virginia Square, Clarendon and Court House stations will be closed. Crews are working on trackbed lighting installation.

Orange Line trains will run between Vienna and East Falls Church and between National Airport and New Carrollton every 12 to 15 minutes. Silver Line trains will run every 12 to 15 minutes between Wiehle-Reston East and East Falls Church.

Orange Line trains coming from New Carrollton will go to the Rosslyn, Pentagon, Pentagon City, Crystal City and National Airport stations instead of ending at Rosslyn. Silver Line riders should use the Blue or Orange Lines to continue trips into DC at Rosslyn.
