Alexandria Police Investigating Death On Holmes Run Area
The medical examiner is conducting an autopsy after a body was found Friday morning.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — Alexandria Police are investigating a death in the Holmes Run Trail area on Friday.
Around 9:30 a.m., a passerby had discovered a body submerged in the water. Police said they were investigating on the trail near Cameron Run Regional Park.
The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. The male victim was not publicly identified by police.
