Alexandria Police Investigating Van Dorn Street Bank Robbery

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Monday afternoon at the TD Bank branch located at 557 S. Van Dorn St.

At approximately 2:10 p.m., a man entered the bank and implied he had a weapon. He demanded a teller give him money. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled the scene. The suspect was last seen entering a white sedan.

There were no injuries in the incident.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot, black male in his 40s with short hair. He was seen wearing a white T-shirt, jeans, black fleece jacket and dark-colored shoes.

The same TD Bank branch was robbed on June 13.
