Alexandria Police Investigating Wednesday Night Robbery in Lincolnia
The victim in the heist suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place Wednesday night in the 400 block of North Armistead Street, near Beauregard Street in the Lincolnia area.
The robber brandished a firearm at the victim and stole belongings and cash, the police said. "The victim suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital," they added in a report.
The police did not release a description of the robber.
