The City of Alexandria Police Department reported the following crimes in the West End of Alexandria between in the past week.

The following crimes were reported by the Alexandria Police Department since March 4:

- 1:25 p.m. March 4, 3500 block of King Street, larceny/theft offenses. Â The victim reported unknown suspect/s stole her purse and wallet from her shopping cart only to have the purse found, but without the cash that was initially in her wallet.
- 9:49 a.m. March 4, 4500 block of West Braddock Road, fraud offense, pending.
- 9:15 a.m. March 4, 200 block of South Van Dorn Street, larceny/theft, pending. Victim inadvertently left his laptop in his grocery cart at this location, and it was gone when he tried to retrieve it.
- 11:18 p.m. March 4, 200 block of South Reynolds Street, assault, pending. Assault occurred between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other.
- 9 p.m. March 4, 5000 block of Eisenhower Avenue, assault, arrest. Assault occurred between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other.

- 3:33 a.m. March 5, 2300 block of North Early Street, assault, open case. Assault occurred between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other.
- 7:37 a.m. March 5, 5300 block of Essex Court, motor vehicle theft, pending. Unknown suspect/s stole victim's vehicle from his residence parking lot at this location.
- 10:55 p.m. March 5, 5800 block of Quantrell Avenue, motor vehicle theft, pending.
- 12:53 p.m. March 5, 6000 block of Edsall Road, larceny/theft, pending.
- 2:45 p.m. March 5, 3700 block of King Street, assault, arrest.

- 1:06 a.m. March 6, 500 block of South Pickett Street, motor vehicle theft, arrest. Victim found his stolen van at this location and confronted the subject, who was in it. Victim called police, and subject was arrested.
- 3:51 p.m. March 6, 5000 block of Seminary Road, larceny/theft offenses, pending. Victim reported unknown suspect stole a Fed-Ex delivered package from his front porch at this address.
- 4:10 p.m. March 6, 100 block of South Bragg Street, fraud, arrest. Victim reported that their identity has been stolen and used for fraudulent activity.
- 11:20 p.m. March 6, 100 block of South Whiting Street, fraud, open case. Victim reported that an unknown suspect used personal credit card information to make fraudulent purchases.
March 7
- 3:59 a.m. March 7, 6300 block of Stevenson Avenue, motor vehicle theft, pending. Known subject stole victim's vehicle and had an accident causing extensive damage to the vehicle.
- 1:55 p.m. March 7, 1400 block of North Beauregard Street, assault, pending. Assault occurred between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other.
- 2:27 p.m. March 7, 4800 block of Kenmore Avenue, larceny/theft offenses, pending. Unknown suspect/s stole the license plates from victim's vehicle while parked in the lot at this location.
- 8:31 p.m. March 7, 200 block of South Whiting Street, larceny/theft, open case. Victim reported his cell phone was stolen at a gathering at this location.

- 9:09 a.m. March 8, 5400 block of Sheffield Court, burglary/breaking and entering, pending.
- 9:30 a.m. March 8, 5400 block of Sheffield Court, burglary/breaking and entering, pending.
- 12:21 p.m. March 8, 300 block of North Ripley Street, larceny/theft, open case.
