ALEXANDRIA, VA — Another temporary traffic shift and ramp closure will be implemented on King Street at Interstate 395 in Alexandria as part of the bridge rehabilitation project, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. VDOT crews are replacing the bridge deck on the westbound side of the bridge and will shift traffic to the eastbound side.
The temporary traffic shift will be implemented Sunday, May 23. Lane closures in both directions of King Street will happen from 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 22 to 7 a.m. on Sunday, May 23 for temporary striping.
