Bishop Ireton Girls Lacrosse Wins Fourth Straight WCAC Title
The team won the title with an 11-7 win over Our Lady of Good Counsel High School.
From Bishop Ireton Lacrosse Team:The Bishop Ireton girls lacrosse team captured their fourth straight WCAC (Washington Catholic Athletic Conference) on Monday, defeating Our Lady of Good Counsel High School 11-7 at Ludwig Field in College Park, MD.
Reilly Casey ‘20 propelled the Cardinals (15-5) to victory with four goals and four assists, along with Sydney Foster’s ‘19 hat trick and two goals by Briana Lantuh ‘19. Goalie Ashley Bowan ‘21 also made six key saves during the game. BI has won five of the last six WCAC titles and squares off against The Potomac School on Friday, May 17 at 5:00 p.m. in the VISAA Tournament on the Highland School’s campus.
