Update: Broken Truck Blocks Duke Street Lane in Alexandria
BREAKING: Alexandria Police said the truck has been moved and traffic congestion would ease up.

(Update 5:07 p.m. Wednesday: truck is no longer blocking traffic). ALEXANDRIA, VA -- A broken tractor trailer blocked a lane in West Alexandria Wednesday afternoon, causing traffic congestion at the beginning of rush hour.
The truck blocked the turn lane on westbound Duke Street at Quaker Lane. Alexandria Police urged drivers to avoid the area. Around 5 p.m., police said the truck has been moved from the lane and that all lanes would soon open up.
