Delays have pushed back the opening of Burger7 in West End Alexandria to May 11, according to the company’s website.
Construction delays have extended the opening day of the restaurant, also known as B7, at Foxchase. The burger joint is under construction at 4533 Duke St., in the space between Chipotle and Nails Hurricane.

The company first announced the restaurant would open in December. That date was later pushed back to April.
The burger chain features hormone-free, never-frozen beef, milkshakes made with organic milk, fries, hot dogs, turkey burgers and vegan burgers. A plain burger starts at $3.89, with extra charges for select toppings and sides.

Burger7 opened in 2012 in Tysons Corner and in Arlington. There is also a location in Falls Church.
