Chicago formed in 1967 and originally called themselves the Chicago Transit Authority. Their politically focused songs morphed into soft rock in the 1970s. Last year the band released “Chicago: Greatest Hits Live,” which features a live performance from 2017 when Chicago played the PBS series "Soundstage."
