Chipotle Coming to Area Shopping Center

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A Chipotle restaurant will come to the Bailey's Crossroads area, at the Crossroads Place shopping center, according to Levin Management, which manages and leases the shopping center.

The fast-casual restaurant will occupy 2,100 square feet at 3556B S. Jefferson St., in a spot that was formerly home to a Quiznos sandwich shop. Chipotle has applied for a license to sell beer at this location.

The shopping center will also soon welcome a Longhorn Steakhouse, located directly behind the Olive Garden restaurant, a popular longtime tenant.

“Crossroads Place offers a great location in a high-demand marketplace, and national retailers like Chipotle recognize the center’s strategic benefits,” said Jake Frantzman, who negotiated the long-term lease, in a news release. “This is a very well-shopped center with a fantastic lineup of retail, service and restaurant tenants. Chipotle is a leader in its category and a tremendous traffic-driver, and we are excited to welcome them to Crossroads Place.”

Chipotle first opened in 1993 and currently operates more than 1,000 restaurants. Chipotle offers a menu of burritos, tacos, burrito bowls and salads.

Chipotle also recently opened at 6242 Little River Turnpike, where Rita's Italian Ice was located and recently opened at S. Glebe Road and Columbia Pike in a new building next to the new Sugar Shack donut shop.
