Chipotle to Open in Mid-June at Bailey's Crossroads

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- National restaurant chain Longhorn Steakhouse recently celebrated its grand opening at Crossroads Place in the Falls Church area, with Chipotle Mexican Grill soon to follow in mid-June, the management company for the shopping center announced Wednesday.

Levin Management, based in North Plainfield, N.J., serves as exclusive leasing and managing agent for the 339,000-square-foot shopping center that serves the surrounding neighborhoods in Bailey's Crossroads, Falls Church, Arlington and Alexandria.

“Serving high-quality menu items at an affordable price point, casual and fast-casual restaurant segments are thriving in key markets across the United States,” said Jordan Korris, Levin’s leasing representative for Crossroads Place. “Longhorn Steakhouse and Chipotle bring exciting new dining options to Crossroads Place, providing additional lunch and dinner choices for the center’s shoppers as well as those who live and work in the community.”

In its announcement Wednesday, the company noted the busy area and dense population: Located at the heavily traveled intersection of Leesburg Pike and South Jefferson, Crossroads Place serves a growing residential population of more than 590,000 people and a daytime population of nearly 350,000 within a five-mile radius. The marketplace offers an average household income of more than $122,000, and the daily traffic count is about 60,600 vehicles per day.

Anchored by a Giant food store, T.J.Maxx, HomeGoods, Cost Plus World Market and Burlington Coat Factory, Crossroads Place features a mix of more than 20 regional and national tenants including Mattress Warehouse, Advance Auto, Foot Locker, Office Depot, Snips Etc., Olive Garden, CiCi’s Pizza, Einstein Bagels, PNC Bank and Starbucks. Olive Garden and Longhorn Steakhouse share the same parent company.
