Alexandria Spring Clean-Up Saturday

Alexandria residents who receive city trash services now have the chance to get rid of household clutter, unwanted bulky trash and even metal items.

Alexandria is holding a city-wide spring cleanup throughout April. Trash will be picked up Saturday on curbsides in the West End.

Trash has already been collected from Old Town, Del Ray and central Alexandria.

The Saturday date coincides with residents who are taking it upon themselves to remove trash from city parks. Volunteers will tackle trash at Holmes Run and Fort Williams parks Saturday.
