Brenman Park Picnic Shelter Repairs Scheduled

Contractors with the Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities will be repairing the picnic shelter at Ben Brenman Park in February.

The park is located at 4800 Brenman Park Dr. The repairs include roof shingle replacement, a new gutter system and the replacement of defective framing. The shelter is located at the southeastern part of the park, adjacent to the volleyball courts.

The work is dependent on the weather and scheduled for Feb. 7 through 25. The work should take one week to complete at some point during that time, and the picnic shelter will be closed during the repair.
