Commonwealth Republican Women’s Club Member Receives Accolades
CRWC's Becky Davies was recognized with the "Making A Difference" award.

Alexandria's Commonwealth Republican Women’s Club turned out for the city’s Women’s Commission 33rd annual awards banquet March 18 at the Westin Hotel.
Longtime Alexandria volunteer and CRWC member Becky Davies’ work with the Girl Scouts was recognized with the “Making a Difference” award. Davies joins CRWC members previously recognized for their public service by the Alexandria Commission for Women: Jane Ring, Julie Lineberry, Becky Davies, Sharon Annear, Fran Redmon, Sandy Calhoun and Alicia Hughes.

The club is seeking new members active in serving the city of Alexandria. Members learn from speakers, meet candidates, serve the community and enjoy the fellowship of other, like-minded women. Meetings are usually the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. The club’s next meeting is March 28. The April 25 meeting will be held at Alexandria’s Lyceum.
