Crash Sends 1 To Hospital On Van Dorn Street In Alexandria
The crash resulted in traffic detours Wednesday morning on Van Dorn Street. The road has reopened.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — One person went to the hospital after a crash on Van Dorn Street in Alexandria Wednesday.
The crash happened on North Van Dorn Street near Kenmore Avenue, the IAFF Local 2141 union tweeted at 7:46 a.m. The person was extricated from the vehicle and taken to a hospital.
The incident resulted in traffic detours, including for the DASH Bus AT5 route. The detour caused the bus to miss stops in both directions between Van Dorn and Taney, and Seminary and Kenmore.

As of 9:44 a.m., DASH reported that the road had reopened and AT5 buses were running on the regular route.
