Two new cases of the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, have been reported in Virginia — one in Fairfax City and the other in Spotsylvania County — bringing the total number of presumptive positive test results to six in the state as of midday Tuesday, according to the Virginia Department of Health.

UPDATE: Bowser Clarifies Number Of Positive COVID-19 Cases
During a Tuesday afternoon press conference, Mayor Muriel Bowser clarified an earlier report concerning the total number of presumptive positive cases of the coronavirus in D.C.
The new number is four cases, which is one less than what was previously reported.
