Jackson 20 to Host 'Soil to Soul' Fundraiser Next Week
Event will feature Alexandria restaurants, farmers market vendors and benefit Old Town Farmers Market SNAP/EBT Double Dollar Program.

On Friday, Oct. 3, Jackson 20 and Monaco Alexandria, a Kimpton Hotel will host “Soil to Soul,” a block party fundraiser benefitting the Old Town Farmers’ Market SNAP/EBT Double Dollar Program. The evening of dining and drinks will feature neighboring restaurants such as Society Fair, BRABO by Robert Wiedmaier and The Grille at Morrison House.
Each restaurant will craft a selection of seasonal bites, utilizing the best produce from Old Town Farmers’ Market vendors. Several of the weekly Old Town Farmers’ Market vendors will be onsite for a special night time pop-up market in the courtyard with produce and products for sale.

The evening will highlight select Virginia wines and local beer from breweries such as Port City Brewing Company. Jackson 20 lead bartender Andy Nelson will also be crafting up a seasonally inspired cocktail made with fresh herbs from market vendors. There will be a host of games with some great themed prize packages. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Old Town Farmers’ Market SNAP/EBT Double Dollar Program. Tickets include light bites from participating restaurants and vendors; there will be a cash bar available for alcoholic beverages.
