John Adams Elementary Partially Without Heat
Students were sent to nearby recreation centers Monday after power loss.
Parts of John Adams Elementary School are without heat following a partial power loss Monday.
School remains in session on a normal schedule. Power was restored to the school, located at 5651 Rayburn Ave., Tuesday morning after part of the building lost power Monday.

Tuesday morning, Alexandria City Public Schools announced that part of the school was without heat. School officials said they were closely monitoring the situation and that maintenance is working to restore the heat to the entire building.
